Engaging Indigenous people within Higher Ed

CQUniversity's Office of Indigenous Engagement recently hosted a visit from the Oodgeroo Unit of Queensland University of Technology (QUT), at Rockhampton Campus.

Professor Anita Lee Hong, Director of the Oodgeroo Unit, and Lone Pearce, Project Officer, met with Office of Indigenous Engagement staff to discuss employment issues and best practice models for engaging Indigenous people within the higher education sector, including governance matters.

Chinese students urgently needed for research project

Doctor of Business Research student Molly Yang is urgently needing Chinese students from Sydney to take part in a research questionnaire.

PhotoID:3571 The questionaire will focus on “Why do mainland Chinese students come to study in Australia?”.

Ms Yang hopes to interview a number of Chinese students from the Sydney International Campus next Monday through to Friday.

Interviews will take between 10 and 15 minutes.

As a gesture of appreciation of the participants’ time and cooperation, a $20 book coupon will be given to each of the first 30 respondents.
