Congratulations to CQU Masters of Applied Science student Luke McArthur (pictured) who won the 'second-best presentation' prize at the Second Annual Student-Industry-CRC Symposium held at CQU Gladstone last week.
Luke was among 4 CQU Process Engineering and Light Metals research students who had the chance to network with fellow researchers and industry representatives from around the country during the event.
The symposium was organised by the Centre for Sustainable Resource Processing (CSRP) as a forum for postgraduate students studying within the minerals and energy sector.
Luke is working on a project that aims to assess the precision and accuracy of mineralogical analysis of Weipa bauxite using near infrared spectroscopy.
