Indigenous students urged to consider TEP

Indigenous students are urged to consider enrolling in the Tertiary Entry Program based at CQU Rockhampton.

TEP spokesperson Roslyn Dunphy said the free program was open for recent school leavers and mature-age people (even those who have not completed school) who have basic literacy.

She said participants could use the Centrelink-approved TEP program to gain access to employment or to any university in Australia.

"The program is not like school ... bring a friend and enjoy the wonderful learning experience," she said.

"We have friendly, understanding staff who have been there and will be there to walk with you on your learning journey.".
