While doing Air League, getting his private pilot's license, and completing grade 12, Simon recently completed the course with a High Distinction and is enrolled to attend CQUniversity's Bachelor of Aviation Technology degree in Term 1, 2011.

Simon's goal is to become a Qantas pilot.

"After all he's accomplished this year I couldn't resist driving to Hervey Bay to present him with a certificate for his High Distinction at Xavier's Awards Presentation day.  I'm very proud of him and all of his accomplishments and wish him great success,"  Ron Bishop, Head of the Aviation Program, said.
