Raul plans a run for his money

While many staff and students will take part as walkers in this year's Rockhampton Relay for Life fundraiser, PhD student Raul Goldenberg is looking forward to a run for his money.

In fact, the Health and Human Performance identity, plans to run for the entire 18 hours of the event, covering up to 100km, with the help of a supportive 'pit crew'.

Relay for Life, to be held at CQU Rockhampton on the May 19-20 weekend, raises funds for the Cancer Council (formerly Queensland Cancer Fund).

Anyone keen to boost Raul's funds can email r.goldenberg@cqu.edu.au to make a pledge.

Donations of $2 and over are tax deductible.

Raul is participating as part of a larger team; one of around 100 scheduled to take part in the major event.

CQU has been a long-time supporter of Relay for Life.
