Visitors to help Rocky people taste Thai culture

About 20 Thai high school students will spend late April and early May in Rockhampton, learning English while encouraging cultural exchange opportunities.
The Universal Cultural Exchange (UCE) Foundation of Thailand group will be hosted by Central Queensland University Language Centre, local Homestay families, the Cathedral College and St Anthony\'s Primary School.
The visitors will try out Aussie sports and foods during an itinerary which also includes trips to Cooberrie Wildlife Sanctuary, Yeppoon beach, Rockhampton Heritage Village and Dreamtime Cultural Centre.
The Thai teenagers will be matched with Australian \'buddies\' during three days at Cathedral College and will also spend a day interacting with pupils at St Anthony\'s Primary School.
The visitors will present traditional Thai dance displays to their school hosts and will also present Thai food and dance displays to their Homestay hosts.
