Engaging Indigenous people within Higher Ed

CQUniversity's Office of Indigenous Engagement recently hosted a visit from the Oodgeroo Unit of Queensland University of Technology (QUT), at Rockhampton Campus.

Professor Anita Lee Hong, Director of the Oodgeroo Unit, and Lone Pearce, Project Officer, met with Office of Indigenous Engagement staff to discuss employment issues and best practice models for engaging Indigenous people within the higher education sector, including governance matters.

Australian Graduate Survey prizewinner announced 

CQUniversity's Evaluation Services (Analysis and Planning Unit) has announced Nikki Timor as the lucky prizewinner of an iPod in the annual Australian Graduation Survey competition.

Graduates who completed their program of study in 2007 and filled in an Australian Graduate Survey were included in the draw.

The prize for completing this year's survey is a Dell Inspiron Mini 9 netbook - a light, mobile device built for easy online browsing and entertainment. The netbook comes complete with connectivity features, advanced wireless options and has a dynamic user interface.

So if you are completing your program of study in 2008 and fill in an Australian Graduate Survey, you will be eligible to go into the draw to win this great prize.
