Cryle contributes to CQ Constitutional Convention

CQU academic Dr Denis Cryle will contribute to the Central Queensland Constitutional Convention due to be held this Friday (February 17) in Rockhampton.
Dr Cryle, from the School of Contemporary Communication, will contribute a 45-minute address on what the Constitution says about State/Federal relationships.
State MPs Robert Schwarten, Paul Hoolihan and Liz Cunningham will address the convention on State/Federal responsibilities.
Nominated speakers from schools will present speeches on the subject 'The States should be abolished', and an election will decide 2 CQ representatives to attend the national convention.
This week's convention will also include discussion groups and a closing address by Education Queensland Regional Executive Director Lynne Foley.
