CQU senior management is currently in negotiation with Australian University Quality Agency (AUQA) regarding the scheduling of the 2005 AUQA audit.

Completion and deployment of the CQU Quality Management Framework (QMF) is progressing through a final consultation and review process and will form the foundation for the AUQA audit preparation project.

PQAG is a consultative group for the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Resources) in the development and the implementation of CQU’s quality assurance and improvement framework.

PQAG will investigate and review existing quality assurance and improvement frameworks to provide recommendations to the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Resources) in respect to the development and implementation of the quality assurance and improvement framework at CQU.

Under the direction of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Resources), PQAG will develop action plans for the implementation of the accepted quality assurance and improvement framework for CQU.

The web site is an important tool for information sharing and communicating with the University staff and students about quality systems and processes. Some links are protected and require your usual User Name and Password to access this information.

The Continuous Improvement Unit will manage the finalisation and deployment of the Quality Management Framework (QMF). Similarly, the Continuous Improvement Unit will be responsible for the project management and central co-ordination of the University’s AUQA audit preparations.

The CQU Quality Officer convenes monthly meetings of the Faculty and Divisional Quality Officers to share information regarding quality assurance and enhancement issues between the organisational and operational areas of the University. Discussions in these meetings are informal, general and varied although always informative. Faculty and Divisional Quality Officers are available to inform staff in their operational units regarding quality issues.

The management of C Management Services is hosting a workshop bringing together Quality Assurance and Compliance Officers from CQU and C. Management Services. This workshop will be held over April 6-7 at CQU Gold Coast International. Staff from CQU International, Informatics & Communication, Business & Law and the CIU will be contributing to the workshop.
