House of Reps picks up 10,000 Steps

The CQU-based 10,000 Steps program is reaching all levels of society across Australia - most recently the corridors of power in Canberra.
The House of Representatives Social Club has invited all occupants to take part in its second 10,000 Steps Challenge for 2006 - (virtually) walking the east coast of Australia in November.
Earlier this year, House of Representatives staff walked the equivalent of Canberra to New Caledonia via Norfolk Island.
"Whether you enjoyed the June challenge or missed out on the fun, now is your chance to improve your fitness and socialise with Parliament House colleagues," says a flier circulating the grass-covered building.
