Engaging Indigenous people within Higher Ed

CQUniversity's Office of Indigenous Engagement recently hosted a visit from the Oodgeroo Unit of Queensland University of Technology (QUT), at Rockhampton Campus.

Professor Anita Lee Hong, Director of the Oodgeroo Unit, and Lone Pearce, Project Officer, met with Office of Indigenous Engagement staff to discuss employment issues and best practice models for engaging Indigenous people within the higher education sector, including governance matters.

Music and Theatre auditions due in Rockhampton and Mackay

CQUniversity has updated the schedule of auditions for its new Bachelor of Music (Specialisation) and Bachelor of Theatre (Specialisation) degrees.

The University has announced that from 2009, the Theatre specialisations will be based at Mackay Campus and the Music specialisations at Rockhampton Campus.

Auditions for the Theatre degree will be held at Mackay on October 27 and at Rockhampton on November 3.

Auditions for the Music degree will be held at Rockhampton on November 1.
