Activities stem from field biology residential school

Nineteen students in the recent field biology residential school held at Rockhampton Campus got plenty of time in the open air as they sampled a range of activities.
Some of the projects included vegetation surveys, soil collection and analysis, mammal trapping, fish netting and report writing.
The 4-day residential school was conducted by Dr Nanjappa Ashwath and Dr Leo Duivenvoorden and attracted students from as far afield as Bundaberg, Gladstone, the Sunshine Coast and Brisbane, as well as from the local area.
