Emerald Campus offers business, education and bridging programs in supportive environment

Central Queensland University Emerald Campus has been operating since 1989 and continues to offer the first-year Bachelor of Business Degree and the full degree for Bachelor of Learning Management (Early Childhood, Primary & Secondary Education).

Emerald campus also offers the STEPS Bridging Program and Uni-Link Program which is designed as an introduction to University for secondary school students.

The campus provides facilities and support to all CQU students currently studying in the local area.

The campus boasts a new on-line computer lab, a variety of student services, access to first-class technology, library resources and modern class rooms including an auditorium.

High quality residential accommodation is also available. The campus is situated in the grounds of the Australian Agricultural College and is surrounded by lush parks and gardens. All this contributes to an environment that makes study a pleasure.

Small class sizes mean that Emerald CQU students have a greater chance to achieve higher academic results. The low student-to-teacher ratio allows students more access to tutors during and after class times. There are a number of scholarships available to assist with the financial burden of study.

CQU staff are committed to the success of their students and to providing a friendly and supportive environment in which to study.
