CQU students create artists career

Central Queensland University Faculty of Business and Law students have provided artist Paul Bell with a career changing experience.

Paul Bell has won the Printing Industries Craftsmanship Award (PICA) Judges Gold Award for his print titled “Brisbane 2003” naming him the Queensland PICA champion.

Earlier this year CQU Rockhampton Promotions Management students launched Paul Bell’s “Paintbrush meets Technology” collection in a Central Queensland evening exhibition on-campus.

The students organised the event as part of a case study for Promotions Management controlling the promotions plan, advertising and invitations for the evening.

The event was designed to offer CQU students with valuable marketing experience whilst promoting Paul Bell as an emerging artist.

“Brisbane 2003” will now be entered into the Australian National competition.
