Kylie Performer has Sweet Memories of Sugar City

A few years back, as Kylie Minogue began her third decade as England's Pop Princess, Lucy Holmes was in the quiet canefields of Mackay paying her dues as a music theatre student.

Nowadays, Lucy is a bit further along the road to fame and fortune thanks to the sucess of 100% Kylie - her Kylie show - which has already been seen by tens of thousands of people in her home town of Melbourne in venues such as the Crown Casino, The Park Hyatt, & The Melbourne Covention Centre along with shows in Launceston Tasmainia & Canberra.

PhotoID:1087 Her first overseas show will be at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre on October 4 and Lucy is getting bookings for corporate functions and public concerts throughout Australia & South East Asia.

Since completing her Associate Diploma of Music Theatre in Mackay at CQU's Central Queensland Conservatorium of Music, Lucy has worked regularly as performer, writer and director in numerous theatre productions. She recently sang backing vocals for Marina Prior at the Channel 9 Carols by Candlelight live in front of 33,000 people and over 2 million TV viewers.

Lucy's largest audience for the 100% Kylie show has been at a Tasmanian festivale 2003 where 15,000 people turned up to watch her show.

The 100% Kylie show has re-created the sound, look and choreography of Miss Minogue's greatest hits. It includes 10 replica costume changes and two of the backing dancers who accompanied the real Minogue on her world tour and videos.

While not strutting the stage, Lucy can be found in her day-job as a worker for an international charity that helps blind and disabled people in Third World countries.
