Engaging Indigenous people within Higher Ed

CQUniversity's Office of Indigenous Engagement recently hosted a visit from the Oodgeroo Unit of Queensland University of Technology (QUT), at Rockhampton Campus.

Professor Anita Lee Hong, Director of the Oodgeroo Unit, and Lone Pearce, Project Officer, met with Office of Indigenous Engagement staff to discuss employment issues and best practice models for engaging Indigenous people within the higher education sector, including governance matters.

Infocom's last Xmas party 

Faculty of Infomatics and Communication staff are getting ready for the end of the year and also the end of the faculty. To celebrate the start of the festive season and say good bye to Infocom, they are holding the party of the year.

PhotoID:2522 They hope to have a good turn out this year at what promises to be a night to remember. The party kicks off at 6.30pm in the Gilbert Room at the Brothers League Club on Lion Creek Road. The evening will comprise of a sumptous festive buffet, juke box, luxury hamper raffle, and other suprises on the night.
