Steps Students Celebrate Completion for 2009

CQUniversity Emerald Campus celebrated the 2009 STEPS (Skills for Tertiary Education Preparatory Studies) Completion Ceremony on Wednesday 14th October.
Students were presented with their Completion Certificates by Karen Seary, Director of Studies, Academic Learning Services and Division of Library and Academic LearningServices.
Four graduating students, Rona Burkhardt, Robert Howard, Vernon Meyrick and Anna Tushuizen spoke of their STEPS journey and what the course had meant to each of them. Emerald STEPS Graduation
CQUniversity Australia STEPS Coordinator Emerald Campus, Jo Rosenblatt, said that she was very pleased with the evening and that a good time had been had by all. The celebration concluded with the cutting of the cake by Rona Burkhardt.
CQUniversity Australia Emerald Campus Operations and Project Manager Emerald Campus, Gai Sypher said, "The STEPS course is a wonderful opportunity for anyone interested in preparing for further University studies or in upgrading their Computing, Mathematics and Language skills." STEPS is completely free to anyone over 18 years of age who is an Australian/New Zealand Citizen, Permanent Resident or a holder of a Humanitarian Visa.
