Property in the spotlight at conference in October

CQUniversity is hosting a half-day property conference on Friday, October 8.
Coordinator for the conference Associate Professor Kristy Richardson said the conference will provide property valuers, real estate agents and investors with a wealth of information about current trends and changes in policies and in the market place.
Conference topics include: issues with overlapping land tenements; the new land valuation act; what financiers want from valuations; property finance; GIS as an emerging property tool; and the impact of global economic events on local markets.
The Conference will be hosted in Rockhampton and will also be accessible via video-conference at Emerald, Gladstone, Mackay, Bundaberg and Noosa.
Registration for students is free, while Australian Property Institute members pay $44 and non-members pay $55.
