An Australian Government initiative, ICE WaRM was established in 2004 to provide a national focus and international gateway to Australia's leading education, training and research expertise in water resources management.
ICE WaRM has coordinated the development of a new and uniquely flexible Masters level program offered simultaneously by its 5 partner universities, The University of Adelaide, the University of South Australia, The Flinders University of South Australia, Central Queensland University and Deakin University.
The 18 month full-time Masters Program provides students with the opportunity to undertake specialised streams to suit their interests and career aspirations in the water industry.
Specialist streams include Aquatic Ecosystem Management, Management of Water Infrastructure, Water Quality and Treatment, Groundwater Hydrology/ Hydrogeology and Irrigation.
Through its Scholarship Program, ICE WaRM is offering international candidates full or part tuition scholarships to undertake full-time postgraduate studies in the Master of Water Resources Management program.
The scholarship programme is aimed at attracting high quality international students from the water industry or academic sector to undertake studies in the Master of Water Resources Management program.
Scholarship applications are now open for commencement in February 2008. Applications for scholarships close September 22.
