Student Services and EUS team up for Touch Football Day

Students from CQU are being encouraged to take part in a free Touch Football Day to be held on the Friday of Week 5 at Rockhampton Campus.

CQU Student Services has teamed up with the Engineering Undergraduate Society (EUS) to hold the event, which aims to increase the social interaction of students whilst maintaining their activity levels.

The event, which is part of the Healthy Universities Program, will be held at the CQU Rugby Fields on August 17 from 2pm to 5pm.

The mixed competition, for CQU students only, will be played in a round-robin format with a final series at the end.

There will be prizes to be won and an inaugural trophy for the winners of the day. At the completion of the matches there will be a free sausage sizzle for all those who attend the event.

Teams need to consist of 6 to 9 CQU Students with at least 3 females. EUS will also be holding a function immediately after the event for anyone interested.
