This forum gave members of the regional community the chance to express ideas on how to achieve campus sustainability, from a community-University partnership perspective.

Guests included former Mayors Nita Cunningham and Kay McDuff, as well as the current Mayor of Bundaberg Region, Cr Lorraine Pyefinch.

The positive participation from all delegates ensured both short and long-term strategies were discussed to improve the viability of the campus.

"This second annual Community Consultation has built on the foundations of last year's forum and has achieved considerable buy-in from the community," CQU Head of Campus, Phillip Clift said.

He said he looked forward to continued support as the initiatives were implemented.
