After a four-month stay at Central Queensland University Rockhampton, three AustraLearn students packed their bags on the weekend to return home after their "downunder educational experience".
Melanie Reda from Ohio Northern University, where about 35,000 students are enrolled, has "really enjoyed her Aussie experience".
"It has just been amazing - I have seen places from Sydney to Cairns, travelling on weekends with other AustraLearn students.".
Melanie commended AustraLearn on their excellent educational and cultural program.
"I have spoken to other American students who didn't come with AustraLearn and I think they missed out on a lot, especially travel.".
Another AustraLearn student from Indiana Chris Penn said he really enjoyed his time in Australia and is keen to commence another two months of touring the country before heading back home to college.
"I have already seen a bit of Australia - Sydney, Cairns and New Castle - but I am looking forward to seeing more.".
Chris will be staying with other AustraLearn students on his travels.
Another American student Tatum Branaman also returned home on the weekend.
