The students participated in many activities, including nursing, science, accounting and aviation.

Equity Outreach Project Officer Catherine Spencer coordinated the free event and received positive feedback from the school.
"Outreach programs are designed to encourage participation in tertiary studies from high school student groups traditionally under-represented in higher education," Ms Spencer said.
"This program provided students with an insight into university life and explained the benefits of obtaining a tertiary qualification.
"Through fun and interactive sessions, the students were able to explore what an undergraduate degree is all about and the study programs offered at universities."
The visiting students were able to speak to CQUniversity mentors who shared their experiences of university.
Parents and guardians were also invited to be involved in the program by attending a session where they could chat with staff members and take part in a campus tour.
"Parents and guardians also attended the certificate ceremony to celebrate the students' participation in the program," Catherine said.
