Engaging Indigenous people within Higher Ed

CQUniversity's Office of Indigenous Engagement recently hosted a visit from the Oodgeroo Unit of Queensland University of Technology (QUT), at Rockhampton Campus.

Professor Anita Lee Hong, Director of the Oodgeroo Unit, and Lone Pearce, Project Officer, met with Office of Indigenous Engagement staff to discuss employment issues and best practice models for engaging Indigenous people within the higher education sector, including governance matters.

Renewed support for delivery of degrees in Singapore

CQUniversity has renewed its commitment for delivery of degrees in Singapore and is once again actively recruiting students, to start from Term 2 this year.

The University had in recent years wound down its Singapore operations (into teach-out mode) due to changing priorities of its previous education agency.

We now offer degrees in Singapore, with local support from Melior Business School (MBS), using online and distance education materials and with some management visits to ensure quality.

Options available for students include: the Bachelor of Hospitality Management;  the Bachelor of Science (Psychology); the Bachelor of Biomedical Science; Graduate Certificate in Management; Graduate Diploma in Management; and the Master of Business Administration and/or the Master of Management (International Business).
