Engaging Indigenous people within Higher Ed

CQUniversity's Office of Indigenous Engagement recently hosted a visit from the Oodgeroo Unit of Queensland University of Technology (QUT), at Rockhampton Campus.

Professor Anita Lee Hong, Director of the Oodgeroo Unit, and Lone Pearce, Project Officer, met with Office of Indigenous Engagement staff to discuss employment issues and best practice models for engaging Indigenous people within the higher education sector, including governance matters.

CQU expands railway signalling courses

Central Queensland University (CQU) is offering a distance-learning Graduate Certificate/Graduate Diploma program in Railway Signalling, which has also been recently expanded to include a course on railway telecommunications.

PhotoID:3377 These courses, which have been developed by the Rail CRC and licensed to CQU for delivery, are now open for applications for 2007 entry. Closing date for application is November 30 2006.
