She will give a free address on 'Understanding Lores' at the Warwick Senior Citizens Centre, from 7.30pm on March 22.

Cheri is a Kabi Kabi Senior Elder in her clan/family group - a position which she holds with dignity and integrity.

It is from her own life experiences and work in several other countries that Cheri will weave a tapestry for participants to consider the elements that will be considered as an integral part of the 'Lores'. Using the dialogue as a foundational base for a framework of peace, Cheri will draw participants into a circle of Yarning where 'Lores for Peace Living' can be workshopped with individuals who, like her, are spiritually attuned to the promotion of peace and a better way of experiencing life and living.

Cheri will also facilitate a free workshop - 'What Are the Lores for Peaceful Living?' - from 10am on March 25 at the Centre for Healthy Living.

According to the website, she will encourage and provide honour to each participant by giving them the opportunity to express and to demonstrate their knowledge and wisdom regarding this topic.

Participants will work with like-minded people from diverse cultures, backgrounds, philosophies and faiths to discover the themes and differences in the understandings shared in a Yarning Circle.

The workshop will inspire and enable participants to share, enjoy and appreciate small group and large group discoveries, learn and appreciate the diversity of thought and work towards the development of creating 'Lores' for Peace Living.
