Central Queensland University has signed an agreement with Jinju University, a respected South Korean government institution.
The agreement encourages the expansion of cooperation which has begun with CQU Language Centre (Rockhampton Campus) hosting 23 Jinju students who are learning English. Students from Jinju will continue to visit the Language Centre, which is part of CQU's Faculty of Education and Creative Arts.
The two institutions have also discussed research links in the areas of education and agriculture. The President of Jinju University intends visiting CQU Rockhampton during July to meet Vice-Chancellor Professor Glenice Hancock and to discuss a broader cooperation between the two institutions.
