CQU graduates' salaries tend to beat State and national trends

Graduates from CQU have an overall median annual salary of $43,000, compared with the overall national and State median annual salary of $40,000.

That is according to data submitted to the Graduate Careers Council of Australia, tracing the destinations of first-degree Australian graduates working full-time.

CQU graduates tended to get better salaries (than national levels) across most fields of education.

The only exceptions were Accounting (only $500 a year less), Eduction Initial (the same), and Computer Science (only $900 a year less). Other Engineering (with a $52,000 median) was one of the best categories for CQU, compared with a national median of only $45,000.
