Teens experience Uni life

Twenty-seven senior high school students from throughout Central Queensland visited CQU Rockhampton this week for a university experience.
The students are from places including Barcaldine, Blackall, Mt Morgan, Bundaberg, Gracemere, Gin Gin, Zilzie, Gladstone, Emerald, Yandaran, Yeppoon and Littlebella.
They stayed at the Capricornia College and experienced a range of different aspects of university life during the week.
CQU first-year experience coordinator Olive Mallory said the visiting students had an opportunity to gain first-hand information about courses, career opportunities and tertiary study expectations and also gained an insight into university life.
