Engaging Indigenous people within Higher Ed

CQUniversity's Office of Indigenous Engagement recently hosted a visit from the Oodgeroo Unit of Queensland University of Technology (QUT), at Rockhampton Campus.

Professor Anita Lee Hong, Director of the Oodgeroo Unit, and Lone Pearce, Project Officer, met with Office of Indigenous Engagement staff to discuss employment issues and best practice models for engaging Indigenous people within the higher education sector, including governance matters.

Those interested in property welcome at free uni seminar  

Anyone interested in property is welcome at a free CQU seminar on 'Property Feasibility Studies', from 5pm on Monday, March 19.

The seminar will be presented at CQU Rockhampton (building 33, room G.14), with video links to room at CQU campuses at Mackay, Bundaberg and Gladstone.

The presenter, CQU's Adjunct Professor of Property Terry Boyd is a registered Queensland valuer and property investor. He has extensive experience as a property professional and as a senior academic.

Hypothetical development studies.

Rates of return and profit margins.

The importance of cash flow analysis.

Non-market based studies.

Several practical case studies will be illustrated.
