Engaging Indigenous people within Higher Ed

CQUniversity's Office of Indigenous Engagement recently hosted a visit from the Oodgeroo Unit of Queensland University of Technology (QUT), at Rockhampton Campus.

Professor Anita Lee Hong, Director of the Oodgeroo Unit, and Lone Pearce, Project Officer, met with Office of Indigenous Engagement staff to discuss employment issues and best practice models for engaging Indigenous people within the higher education sector, including governance matters.

Musical journey with Judith Brown 

Join Judith Brown this Wednesday evening July 20, as she takes her audience on a fun and interesting journey into 18th Century music.

Joining Judith on stage will be baritone Garrick Jones and tenor Kim Kirkman reliving some of the memorable musical moments from Handel’s 'Messiah' and the operas of Mozart. Featuring music that is both familiar and new, the evening is sure to be both entertaining and enlightening!.
