Lecturer keen to continue as tourism judge

CQU tourism lecturer Jillian Litster is keen to continue her role as a judge for the Queensland Tourism Awards, which she has filled for the past two years.
She recently attended a presentation evening at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition centre, as one of 10 members of the 2003 judging panel for the awards.
Ms Litster said her judging role enabled her to help the Queensland Tourism Industry Council and Tourism Queensland to identify and acknowledge high achievers.
It also allowed her to make many visits to leading tourist operations, which provided material for her teaching and research.
