CQU supports Association of Financial Services Educators conference

CQU Faculty of Business and Informatics was a proud sponsor of the Association of Financial Services Educators annual conference held Sydney recently.
The conference was well attended by CQU staff, including Gold Coast International Campus Director Associate Professor Ken Bruce, Helen Yang from CQU's Melbourne campus, Commerce lecturer Rakesh Gupta and Head of Commerce Beth Tennent from Rockhampton campus.
Delegates from other financial services educators, insurance and financial institutions attended the conference.
The Association of Financial Services Educators Ltd (AFSE) is an association of educators from industry and academia. Their purpose is to foster the exchange of ideas and research in relation to financial services.
The Faculty of Business and Informatics plans to introduce a Bachelor of Financial Planning in 2008.
