CQUniversity this week hosted a visit by senior academics from Thailand's Naresuan University.
The visitors included Dr Sujinda Chemsripong, Dean of the faculty of Management and Information Science, Dr Wachira Punpairoj, Head of School of Business Administration, and Wasin Liampreecha, a senior staff member of that school.
An MOU has been signed with Naresuan University, pledging to work on five initiatives:
- The business case is being prepared for an articulated two-year coursework masters program, with one year in Naresuan and one year in Rockhampton or Mackay. The program will be entirely in English.
- Joint supervision of a research masters program.
- Staff exchange, possibly related to research activities rather than teaching.
- Student exchange.
- Developing a systematic process for junior staff of the MIS Faculty, Naresuan, to complete their PhD at CQUniversity.
Naresuan University is located at Phitsanulok, 350km north of Bangkok.
