Women in Research seek papers for conference

Researchers are encouraged to submit papers for this year's Women in Research (WiR) Conference to be held at Rydges Capricorn Resort in Yeppoon in November (14-16), with the theme 'Making an Impact in Contemporary Society'.

Papers must be submitted by Friday, August 17, via s.woodfield@cqu.edu.au to be considered a refereed paper.

Organisers are encouraging participation by researchers, honours and postgraduate students, teaching and learning facilitators, academics and industry members.

WiR is an organisation established at CQU to support women to conduct research.

WiR president Dr Margaret Rogers said the organisation would be able to announce some exciting keynote speakers soon.

"We appreciate the importance of women's extraordinary journeys and our theme gives women scope to engage in discourse about their research," she said.

Paper guidelines and templates are available via s.woodfield@cqu.edu.au or details are available via 4930 9422.
