Uni celebrates milestones in acquisition of research for posterity

CQUniversity's digital research repository system known as ACQUIRE (acquire.cqu.edu.au) began collecting research articles in December 2006 and has now reached its '5000th record'

Over the years, it has stored books, book chapters, journal articles, conference papers, reports, creative works on CD and DVD, and many other research outputs for government reporting and also for other access.

The Office of Research and the Library have used the latest milestone as an opportunity to thank researchers for submitting works to ACQUIRE.

The fact the repository now contains just over 5000 records is an exciting indication of the strength of research undertaken at CQUniversity.

As part of the celebration the Library created certificates to acknowledge the authors of articles recorded at each 1000th record milestone in ACQUIRE
