Engaging Indigenous people within Higher Ed

CQUniversity's Office of Indigenous Engagement recently hosted a visit from the Oodgeroo Unit of Queensland University of Technology (QUT), at Rockhampton Campus.

Professor Anita Lee Hong, Director of the Oodgeroo Unit, and Lone Pearce, Project Officer, met with Office of Indigenous Engagement staff to discuss employment issues and best practice models for engaging Indigenous people within the higher education sector, including governance matters.

Claire admits she's key to skeleton mystery in Bundaberg 

Physiotherapy student Claire Olds' favourite 'study buddy' is a skeleton called Stanley who often travels with her in the car between her home in Maryborough and the CQUniversity campus in Bundaberg...

Claire got the artificial skeleton for her birthday to help with her studies in anatomy and physiology.

She was amused recently to see the local newspaper had photographed her and Stanley in the car together, with a headline announcing: Man Snapped Driving With Skeleton in Passenger Seat.
