Student diary wins national award

The CQU Student Association’s 2005 Student Diary was recently awarded as ‘Best Student Diary’ at the national ACUMA Awards for excellence, judged on its practical application, cover design, layout and design and use of design elements.
ACUMA is the Australasian Campus Union Managers' Association.
The awards program is designed to recognise excellence in the design, production, and implementation of products and services judged from entries submitted from student organisations across Australia.
CQUSA Marketing and Communications Coordinator, Tammy Parsons (pictured) was pleased to receive the ACUMA Award on behalf of the CQU Student Association.
"Having being awarded in past years for the CQU Student Association’s website, news sheet, posters, newspaper and brochures, this recent award gives us a clean sweep of the marketing and communications categories within the past 5 years," Ms Parsons said.
The CQUSA Student Diary delivers again this year, with a crisp design and added extra features.
All first-year students were able to collect a free student diary and other great giveaways during Orientation.
Continuing students were able to collect a free student diary, wall planner and more from the Student Association’s Assistance Centre from Week 1. External students are asked to request a diary by emailing association-enquiries@cqu.edu.au.
