Engaging Indigenous people within Higher Ed

CQUniversity's Office of Indigenous Engagement recently hosted a visit from the Oodgeroo Unit of Queensland University of Technology (QUT), at Rockhampton Campus.

Professor Anita Lee Hong, Director of the Oodgeroo Unit, and Lone Pearce, Project Officer, met with Office of Indigenous Engagement staff to discuss employment issues and best practice models for engaging Indigenous people within the higher education sector, including governance matters.

32 due to celebrate graduation in Hong Kong

A total of 32 students, mostly from the Faculty of Business & Informatics, are due to celebrate their graduation at Hong Kong's Royal Plaza Hotel, from 2.30pm on Saturday, November 10.

Chancellor Rennie Fritschy and Vice-Chancellor Professor John Rickard will officiate at the event.

The ceremony will include an address by the President and Principal of Hong Kong College of Technology Chan Cheuk Hay.

Hong Kong's Director, Higher Education, Dr Leung Wing Fai will present the graduates.
