Contributions sought for "Women in Transformation"

Women in Research (WiR) have announced a call for papers an inaugural publication of a biennial, peer-reviewed journal, "Women in Transformation".

Women researchers and higher degree students across Central Queensland University are encouraged to respond.

The edited collection of stories/chapters will acknowledge the vital role women have in the creation of knowledge through research activities. Submissions are welcome from any academic discipline; they are expected to reflect a female perspective and consciousness but not necessarily a feminist viewpoint.

Potential contributors are invited to a wine and cheese evening on 13th July at the Rockhampton campus. The evening will be an opportunity to meet with the editors, discuss ideas, consult with colleagues or form research teams. Cost is $13.

Please RSVP to t.mclean@cqu.edu.au or r.freckleton@cqu.edu.au . Dependant on interest, similar evenings may be organised at other campuses.
