Engaging Indigenous people within Higher Ed

CQUniversity's Office of Indigenous Engagement recently hosted a visit from the Oodgeroo Unit of Queensland University of Technology (QUT), at Rockhampton Campus.

Professor Anita Lee Hong, Director of the Oodgeroo Unit, and Lone Pearce, Project Officer, met with Office of Indigenous Engagement staff to discuss employment issues and best practice models for engaging Indigenous people within the higher education sector, including governance matters.

50 employers for Rocky Campus careers fair 

A total of 50 employers ranging from SMEs to government departments and major corporations will be recruiting new graduates at CQU Rockhampton's Careers Fair, on March 28-29.

Students and graduates are encouraged to attend the event held in Building 36, top floor, from 10am to 4pm each day.

"This is your opportunity to network with potential employers and discuss graduate employment options for your discipline," said organiser Troy Dobinson.
