Liz broadens performance options

Talented teen Liz McNally is extending her skills in acting, song and dance thanks to the Bachelor of Performing Arts degree offered in Rockhampton by the Central Queensland Conservatorium of Music (CQCM).

PhotoID:192 During her North Rockhampton High School days, Liz starred in Little Shop of Horrors and Wizard of Oz and was a regular Eisteddfod competitor in the vocal sections.

She also performed in The Capricornia Players production of The Matilda Women by Sue Rider, alongside uiversity students and lecturers, while she was still in high school. Now she is enjoying the diversity of dance as she enters the tertiary environment, while also doing extra vocal training to keep her singing talents bubbling over and to keep her career options as broad as possible.

PhotoID:193 Liz is also preparing for the end of year full scale cabaret style production to be staged in October by the First Year students enrolled in the Bachelor of Performing Arts.

CQCM is part of the Faculty of Education and Creative Arts at Central Queensland University.
