Just one small STEP for prospective students

Prospective mature-age university students have one final chance to enrol in a course designed to prepare them for 2004 tertiary studies.

The 13-week full-time program assists people who do not have other tertiary entrance prerequisites or would like to upgrade their learning skills. Central Queensland University Skills for Tertiary Entrance Preparatory Studies Co-ordinator Lyn Forbes-Smith said applications should be lodged by April 7.

“This is a great opportunity to learn new skills that will be invaluable for successful tertiary studies,” she said.

Applicants sit numeracy and literacy tests on April 10 from 10am to 1pm, with the study program beginning in July.
