Workshop held for Grievance Contact Officers

Margaret Culmsee, Manager Equity and Diversity, welcomed CQU's Grievance Contact Officers (GCOs) to their 2007 training session recently.

The GCOs provide a first point of contact for students and staff who think they may have been subjected to workplace discrimination, sexual harassment or bullying.

The GCOs also provide information on CQU policies and procedures to students and staff specifically as they relate to equal opportunity and fair treatment.

Three new GCOs were inducted and the whole group was introduced to EO Online, the equity on line training program, recently launched by the Vice-Chancellor Professor John Rickard.

Posters with contact details of GCOs will be distributed soon.
