Engaging Indigenous people within Higher Ed

CQUniversity's Office of Indigenous Engagement recently hosted a visit from the Oodgeroo Unit of Queensland University of Technology (QUT), at Rockhampton Campus.

Professor Anita Lee Hong, Director of the Oodgeroo Unit, and Lone Pearce, Project Officer, met with Office of Indigenous Engagement staff to discuss employment issues and best practice models for engaging Indigenous people within the higher education sector, including governance matters.

High demand for High School Musical - extra matinee scheduled

An extra matinee performance has been scheduled for Central Queensland Conservatorium of Music's Mackay production of 'High School Musical'. This is due to strong demand for tickets, especially from families during the school holidays.

The extra matinee - 10.30am on Saturday - is in response to near sell-out crowds for the six scheduled shows between today and Saturday. Only limited tickets are still available.
