Youth inspired by motivational speakers at forum

CQUniversity is a keen supporter of the Step to the Future Foundation forums which take place in Rockhampton today and tomorrow.
Step to the Future is a youth initiative aimed at inspiring young people to build confidence in themselves so they can take the initiative to reach their goals in life.
Armondo Hurley with some students from a forum last year.It also aims to provide young Australians with positive role models, motivation and the opportunity to share the life experiences of a diverse group of individuals, representing business, politics, entertainment, sport and the general community.
During each forum young people are encouraged to ask the high profile presenters questions and may have the opportunity to meet them.
This week's inspiring speakers include former NBL basketball star Eric Bailey, freelance opinion writer Nina Funnell, singer, actor, songwriter and producer Armondo Hurley and adventurer and motivational speaker Matt McFadyen.
Tomorrow's forum begins at 9.30am at the Pilbeam Theatre in Rockhampton.
