Engaging Indigenous people within Higher Ed

CQUniversity's Office of Indigenous Engagement recently hosted a visit from the Oodgeroo Unit of Queensland University of Technology (QUT), at Rockhampton Campus.

Professor Anita Lee Hong, Director of the Oodgeroo Unit, and Lone Pearce, Project Officer, met with Office of Indigenous Engagement staff to discuss employment issues and best practice models for engaging Indigenous people within the higher education sector, including governance matters.

Noosa Hub celebrates 3rd graduation 

CQU Noosa Hub will next week (2pm, Saturday, July 22) celebrate its third graduation ceremony, at the Sheraton Noosa Resort.

PhotoID:3271 A total of 37 graduates will attend - most from the innovative learning management program which has been praised at national level.

They will hear from guest speaker Alan Rogers, Noosa Shire\'s Director of Community Services (pictured).

CQU Chancellor Rennie Fritschy will officiate and Acting Vice-Chancellor Professor Angela Delves will also attend.
