Dr McGrath helps teachers keep 'ear' on science

CQUniversity's Dr John McGrath recently supported Rockhampton district's school science teachers via a 'Cutting Edge Lecture Series' presentation.
Dr McGrath, from the Capricornia Centre for Mucosal Immunology (CCMI) at CQUniversity, spoke about Bacteria and your health: Friend or foe?.

The presentation described research at the CCMI involving the biology of middle ear infections and upper respiratory tract infections.
The 'Cutting Edge' series is conducted by CSIRO Education in collaboration with the Queensland Department of Education, Training and the Arts.
Meanwhile, CQUniversity Rockhampton is also hosting a professional development event for Rockhampton science teachers on July 14, via the Queensland Government's Catalist (Science Centre of Innovation & Professional Practice) program.
