PhD research candidate Sohail Qureshi has recently represented CQU Plant Sciences Group at a major entomological event.
He was one of 39 students among 191 delegates to attend the Australian and New Zealand Entomological Societies Conference in Adelaide.
Researchers, scientists, consultants and students attended from throughout Australia and New Zealand and from as far afield as Hawaii and Iran.
Mr Qureshi presented a 'highly commended' oral paper titled 'Floating Row Covers and Pyriproxyfen help control Silverleaf whitefly in zucchini'.
The event's welcome reception was held in the South Australia Museum.
