High school science teachers from the Capricornia district have spent a day with staff and students in CQU Rockhampton chemistry laboratories to refresh their knowledge.
Their visit was made possible by funding sourced by CQU graduate Rebecca Hack, from Rockhampton High School. The visitors included Anne Fleming (Yeppoon); Susan Slattery (Mt Morgan); Moyna Richardson (Rockhampton); and Warwick Atkinson (North Rockhampton).
While at CQU, the teachers sat in on a guest lecture by CQU graduate Andrew Stewart who is now a forensic chemist. They were hosted by Associate Professor Graham Pegg.
